Audiovisual Days are back at Lindholmen Science Park 8-10 November 2023. There will be three days of lectures, panel discussions and workshops on sound-based and visual storytelling - and Media & Democracy are co-organizers.
Audiovisual Days is a recurring event aimed at everyone who works with audiovisual media – in film, TV, journalism, VR and the experience industry, among others. The focus of this year's event is to explore the opportunities that exist to reach tomorrow's stories in a constantly changing media world.
Leading players in the industry, ranging from journalists and innovators to filmmakers and screenwriters, are invited to inspire and discuss. The schedule includes themes such as AI, virtual production and common challenges faced by the various audiovisual industries. Audio-based storytelling has absolutely exploded in journalism in recent years, these days everyone wants to do podcasts. This will also be discussed at Audiovisual Days, how do you reach out with the podcasts of the future?
The last Audiovisual Days took place in 2021. Media & Democracy were also co-organizers then.
Due to the pandemic, the 2021 event had to be done entirely digitally. This year, Audiovisual Days is back in full force with a physical event at Lindholmen Science Park, but for those who cannot attend, it is also possible to take part digitally.
When: 8-10 november 2023.
Where: Visual Arena, Lindholmen Science Park.
