Forum for Democratic Communication

personer på scen

The Forum for Democratic Communication was established in 2024. Led by Media & Democracy, it's a collaboration with the Swedish Psychological Defence Agency. Its target audiences are policymakers, researchers, and journalists, all of whom are targets for disinformation and undue influence.

Representatives from these groups meet within the forum to share experiences and knowledge. The aim is to increase their resilience so their democratic work isn't hindered. The forum also provides an avenue for researchers in the field to gain new input for future research projects, thereby strengthening and updating societal knowledge.

The forum also hosts public events to raise awareness and understanding of disinformation and undue influence. This initiative is funded by the Swedish Psychological Defence Agency.

We've gathered materials here related to the forum's activities and its themes: disinformation, undue influence, and threats and hatred.
