Registration open for third International Youth Conference

Tuesday, June 1, 2021

In November, the third edition of the International Youth Conference will be held, arranged by the International Youth Think Tank. Participants are 18-24-year-olds who want to take on real challenges and come up with concrete proposals for solutions that can strengthen prosperity and democracy. The opportunity to apply has now been opened.

This year's Youth Conference will be held 22 – 25 November at Visual Arena at Lindholmen Science Park in Gothenburg. This will be the third time the conference is arranged. The conferences in 2019 and 2020 led to innovative proposals on how the open society can be maintained and revitalized, and the proposals have since then been under development in the International Youth Think Tank's "Bottom-Up Policy Advise Loop". The proposals thus constitute the engine for research and conversations within the think tank and its network.

For those of you who are between 18 and 24, there is an opportunity to take on real challenges and participate in developing concrete proposals for solutions that can strengthen prosperity and democracy - in other words, an opportunity to begin a journey as a democracy innovator.

–We have a strong belief in the power of the personal meeting and we hope that in November we will be able to gather the participants at Lindholmen Science Park, but, if circumstances so require, we are prepared to conduct the conference online or in a hybrid format, says Urban Strandberg, director and founder of International Youth Think Tank.

Registrations must be received no later than 16 August.
