Now we are making the Media & Democracy podcast more accessible. Follow the podcast on Spotify so you don't miss new episodes about current media innovation and democracy-related social research.
In December 2020, the first episode of the Media & Democracy podcast was published. The podcast was started in an easily accessible way to spread new knowledge within media innovation and democracy-related social research, one of Medier & demokrati's missions.
"We were a bit into the covid pandemic and felt that we needed more ways to spread knowledge. Before the pandemic, we had mainly published reports and arranged physical seminars, and now seminars were not possible. Therefore, we decided to test the podcast format"
says Martin Holmberg, Program manager for Media & Democracy.
Since the start, there have been 17 episodes. The topics have been everything from election monitoring to research projects and AI development. Already two years before ChatGPT's high-profile launch, the podcast published, for example, an episode about AI-based language models in journalism.
Until now, the podcast has only been accessible via Media & Democracy's website. But the ambition is to make it more accessible - that's why all episodes are now available on Spotify
We publish new episodes regularly, so to catch up on current themes in media innovation and social research, go and follow the Media & Democracy podcast on Spotify.
